Purchasing process

Once you have found a property you are interested in pursuing we will recommend a choice of reputable, experienced lawyers to ascertain that it is free of any debts or restrictions to the new owner, and can also advise you if you wish to have a professional structural report from a RICS Chartered Surveyor.

Once the purchase proceeds we will help you deal with the banks if required, negotiating with them with regard to mortgages and new accounts, referring foreign exchange companies that offer more attractive conversion rates than the banks, and accompanying you to the Notary to ensure the final transfer of ownership is clear and simple.

Past this point we can also help you set up utilities such as water and electricity, telephone lines and ensure that the change of ownership is duly recorded at the Property Registry. In addition, we can arrange for any subsequent work or improvements on the property by landscapers, builders, technicians, architects, decorators and other specialists from our extensive network of trusted professionals – as well as put you in touch with competent and dedicated property and rental management companies.
